When a power-operated dock leveler is in its elevated position, it will not lower until the ramp and lip are supported by pressure from the truck, or by another device such as a maintenance stand. A hydraulic dock leveler is a safe, efficient and durable solution for high-use facilities. They provide excellent performance while keeping maintenance costs low. They are easy to operate and can be adapted to the widest range of transport vehicles. They are also ideal for a variety of applications, from refrigerated trucks and trailers to city delivery trucks and high-cube vans. They can also be used in conjunction with a power or manual dock door to create an environmentally sealed vestibule.
